As we sit through yet another winter storm today, we are incredulous at how long and cold of a winter this has been so far and wonder if spring will ever arrive in Ontario. The novelty of a fresh snowfall has long worn off and the thought of setting foot outside in negative double digit temperatures makes me wish my winter boots and coat were permanent appendages to my body. Despite the polar vortex's best efforts to keep us housebound, a Saturday jaunt to Niagara Falls proved that even during a deep freeze you can find immense beauty.
