I love a good storm any time of year. The wind blowing through the trees, the sound of rain against the windows and lightening shows that rival a good set of fireworks. There's just nothing like curling up on the couch with a cozy blanket and watching a storm unfold.
The weather this summer has been consistently sunny and dry, so when we got caught in a storm in Kamloops on our recent road trip we found it to be a refreshing change. We had almost forgotten what it felt like to get completely drenched in liquid sunshine and to feel the thrill of running across the street, avoiding puddles along the way, to seek cover.
As we left the city, we were able to watch the storm roll past and the sun return from the edges of Kamloops Lake.
How has the summer weather been where you are? Do you enjoy a good storm?
